For skin micro-needling, we use an electric skin needling device that contains 12 very fine needles to break down old scar tissue and stimulate skin cells to proliferate. This results in the formation of new tissue by penetrating the upper layers to prompt the body to create new collagen and elastin fibers. This helps to:

Numbing cream is applied to lessen discomfort and most will experience redness and mild swelling (like a mild sunburn) for 24-48 hours. Within a week or two, you will notice that the skin is smoother and more radiant looking but the full effects won’t be seen until a few months later.

Typically a series of 3-6 treatments is needed 4-6 weeks apart for correction and then 2-4 times a year for maintenance.
